**Job Title**:Social Media & Content Manager
**Reports To**:Sr. Marketing Manager

**JOB SUMMARY**:
At Golf Town, we are Canada’s home of golf and that extends beyond our stores. As our Social Media & Content Manger, you are the eyes, ears and voice behind our brand, driving discussions and engagement with customers and fans. You are passionate about the game and seek new opportunities to story tell through content.

**RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Lead our content strategy, working with cross functional teams to develop social media planning, create and manage editorial calendar
- Use your creative thinking and digital know-how to craft compelling, shareable stories to drive engagement and conversation
- Monitor and report on customer feedback as it relates to our brand
- Build relationships with customers, followers, influencers, industry professionals and journalists
- Use your creative thinking and digital know-how to craft compelling, shareable content.
- Work collaboratively with marketing colleagues and other departments to launch social campaigns that will build brand awareness, thought leadership and demand for Golf Town
- Report regularly on social media activities. Identify goals and measure progress, leveraging your analysis to improve our social efforts over time.
- Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Post secondary degree/diploma in Communications, Media, Journalism, Marketing or other related area
- 3-5 years of experience in media or digital content space
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment that requires self-motivation and personal responsibility.
- Solid project management skills with a proven ability to translate objectives into programs that effectively reach the target audience.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across a large global and multi-disciplined network.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to develop content that provokes engagement
- Proven analytic skills and experience using social media monitoring and publishing tools
- Demonstrated ability to read and react to current events and trends, analyzing results and leverage the information to improve future campaigns.
