Great student work opportunity - we're looking to fill weekday and afternoon kitchen shifts. We have flexible shift starts and duration and are able to work with your course schedule to meet our needs as well as yours

Our name says it all We are Ottawa’s destination for Montreal-style bagels, hot out of the wood burning oven every day. Our kitchen specializes in made-to-order hot and cold _Bagelsammies_. We are open for breakfast and lunch, 7 days a week.

**Day in the Life**
- you will work as part of a team on our sandwich line, assembling hot and cold sandwiches, sides and salads
- you will prepare hot sandwich items on our flat top grill, and make fried sides using the deep fryer
- you will work fast and efficiently, but always with the utmost care and attention to cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
- you will be re-stocking line items and maintaining a clean work station throughout the shift
- you will support closes and overall kitchen cleanliness and sanitary operation by cleaning and replenishing the line, cleaning kitchen equipment, general restocking of food and packaging items, dish washing, sweeping, mopping

**Experience and Other Details**
- previous experience on a quick service sandwich line or in a fast food kitchen environment is an asset, BUT
- we are willing to train if you have less experience but have the right attitude and motivation
- there is an opportunity to work additional hours during holidays, on weekends and into the summer (full time) over the course of the year

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
