Inventory Specialist

**Job Description Summary**
Inventory Specialist will be responsible for liaising with Apple facilities, SSL’s and customers to ensure customer expectations are continually exceeded. In addition, Inventory Specialist will ensure the Inventory Unit works in conjunction with the other operation units to provide seamless services to our valued customers.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Job Key Contributions/Task)**:
- Manage day to day operations of Inventory Control processes to insure timely updating and accuracy
- Responsible for the coordination of PI’s (Parts Inventory) and cycle counts across Apple Hubs and SSL’s
- Ensure exceptional customer service is achieved by exceeding service targets and key performance indicators.
- Act as a support group working closely with other departments to insure complete customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory process at all Apple regional warehouse hubs and SSL's to insure timely updating and accuracy.
- Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion
- Implement a performance tracking tool with KPI for Apple hubs and SSL's
- Instrumental in start up of any new dedicated business/accounts.
- Work directly with customers in resolving discrepancies
- Inform Immediate Manager, VP and Owner of daily activity and/or any issues/concerns
- Ensure adherence to procedural and policy requirements.
- Perform other duties as required/assigned by immediate Manager
- Assure that the team members have the necessary education and training to effectively participate in day to day Inventory Operations
- Assist in ongoing recruitment of Inventory Specialists
- Assist in training of Inventory Specialists
- Coach and monitor each Inventory Specialist to improve and enhance knowledge and skills
- Problem solver in helping staff with escalations and resolving issues
- Maintain positive employee relationships
- Monitor revenue and cost levels to ensure efficiency, profitability
- Deliver superior customer service and has customer centric attitude
- Has strong business sense
**Job Key Competencies/ Skills**:
- Strong customer and people management skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills including the ability to convey information effectively to others
- Strong listening and questioning skills in order to understand the points being made
- A positive attitude to dealing with people; and strong conflict management skills
**Qualifications and experience**:
- College Diploma or University Degree is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Inventory Control
- Fluency in written and verbal English
- Fluency in French an asset
- Logistics/Supply Chain industry knowledge an asset
**Language Skills**:
English is the principal language for this position. This position requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
