True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our team.

**What to be excited for in this role**:Program Support**:

- Use current assessment and therapeutic practices to support the development and content that targets the promotion of healthy coping strategies
- Review current curriculum for opportunities to add or update to reflect current practice as well as diverse and inclusive perspectives
- Assist with creating new or enhanced programs from planning to execution
- Engage with students during events and during program feedback circles
- Present / speak to various groups including children K through Grade 12, as well as adults
**Data and Reporting**:

- Provide support in the collection of data and the analysis of data
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of reports
- Collaborate with team to make recommendations with data and reports
**Creative Content**:

- Develop age-appropriate scripts and videos that teach the science behind mental wellness
- Create an innovative and supportive learning environment
- Support the development of caregiver content
**Organizational Integration**:

- Provide support with ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Project 11 team
- Other tasks may be assigned from time to time, as workloads and schedule allow by the Director of Education Program, True North Youth Foundation
**What we need from you**:

- Graduate Degree in related discipline such as Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or Psychiatric Nursing
- Current registration/license in good standing with the applicable college (i.e. PAM)
- Professional liability insurance
- Relevant experience and training in education or community development with a strong appreciation for psychology or mental health education
- Passionate about making a difference and committed to improving the well-being of children and youth
- Demonstrate a strong appreciation and understanding of Indigenous culture and perspectives
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis and data management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal teamwork skills
- Ability to build rapport and engage with individuals and groups of people
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends on a needed basis
- Valid class five driver’s license and access to vehicle (some local and provincial driving required)
**Knowledge and familiarity with the following considered an asset**:

- Fluent in French
- Familiarity with Indigenous perspectives
- Familiarity with Manitoba School System
- Due to the nature of the sports and entertainment industry where indoor public assembly takes place, it is True North’s expectation that all employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in a manner approved by Health Canada.
