**Location**: Martensville

**Hours**: Full-time or Part-time (flexible schedule; availability preferred Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4 PM, with occasional weekends and evenings)

**Job Details**: This job is offered on a contract position.

We are seeking a compassionate and engaging individual to support a 22-year-old male with developmental disabilities and a seizure disorder. This role is essential in enhancing his social interactions, recreational activities, and life skills both at home and within the community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote engagement and enjoyment.
- Assist with life skill development in a supportive and encouraging manner.
- Provide personal care assistance as needed.
- Build a positive relationship while effectively managing strong personalities and charm.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, with strong enunciation.

**Requirements**:

- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Valid SK Class 5 driver’s license & access to vehicle as clients location is on an acreage outside of Martensville
- Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 1+ year of experience in a related field.
- Educational background in Developmental Services or a related area.
- Experience working with individuals who exhibit manipulative behaviors, emphasizing positive engagement techniques.
- Own vehicle that willing to transport client in
- PART Training

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
