**Store Associate**

The Store Associate will report directly to the Store Manager and Team Lead. The role will support all duties in the market area, including general duties of store operation, as well as provide support in the café area as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides exceptional customer service, greeting, responding to questions, and making recommendations to all guests
- Maintain stock on all shelves, ensuring a tidy and full display of products
- Processes transactions using point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handles cash transactions, including cash handling and other cashier duties
- Follows procedures to process expired products and manage shrinkage
- Performs receiving duties and unpacks products to place on shelves
- Implements and follows store policies and procedures, including maintaining cleanliness in storage, coolers, freezers and all other work areas.
- Communicates customer feedback to managers and makes recommendations for improvement
- Performs store opening and closing duties
- Assists café area as needed
- Supports in administrative duties as needed
- Performs all other related duties as assigned by supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- At least 1 year experience working in a related customer service role

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for an extended period of time
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations or having Food Safe certification
- Knowledge of basic work safety in similar work environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent interpersonal and team work skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $16.75-$18.00 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
