**Overview of the Position**

The Vendor Management Specialist supports our Merchandising team by helping to develop, coordinate, implement, and maintain vendor data and processes required to optimize and evaluate Vendor performance. This position will help to analyze overall vendor performance, including assessing compliance in relation to our vendor agreement. This position is the business owner of internal and external Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) support and consultation.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Creates and maintains Vendor file; including EDI requirements
- Acts as main point of contact for a diverse and global Vendor base
- Communicates new Vendor details to cross-functional teams accordingly
- Ensures the submission and filing of certificate of liability insurance; ensures vendor agreement is signed by Vendor
- Schedules category Vendor meetings and provides organizational support
- Manages Vendor contributions and participates in several Company events, including Vendor Expos
- Contributes to the development and ongoing maintenance of Vendor profiles and scorecards; ensures compliance with Company operational requirements
- Contributes to the development of a Vendor Management Program/Framework
- Evaluates Vendor onboarding and agreement renewal processes to develop and implement standardization and best practices
