**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive function.
- Support individuals with disabilities by facilitating their daily routines and encouraging independence.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance overall well-being.
- Document client progress and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist with case management tasks as needed, coordinating care plans with family members and healthcare providers.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in nursing homes or senior care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with people with disabilities and providing dementia care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in patient care or nursing is beneficial.
- Experience in hospice care may be an advantage for certain roles within the organization.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility or transfers is required.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
