**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled Lead Technician to join our team. The Lead Technician will be responsible for overseeing technical operations, troubleshooting, and maintaining various systems. This role requires a strong understanding of drawings, ISO procedures, and mechanical knowledge. Some knowledge of controls and electrical is helpful. Some equipment commissioning in the field may also be helpful.

**Duties**:

- Lead the mechanical repairs and equipment assembly at our shop in North York
- Install, maintain, and deal with customers in the field when called upon
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
- Utilize schematics to diagnose and resolve problems - We have a very large support team of engineers and technical experts to call
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with admin to ensure parts are ordered, coordinate the jobs on the floor based on their priority level

**Experience**:

- Proven troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in dealing with customers
- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment repair
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with computers and must be comfortable learning a few new programs that Nikkiso uses
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in a leadership role is a plus

**Experience**:

- Hand tools: 5 years (required)
- Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (required)
- Mechanical Shop Experience or Manufacturing: 5 years (preferred)
