What you’ll do:
You will match supplier invoices with purchase orders and receipts to ensure correct amounts are received and invoiced. You will prepare supplier claims and execute processes related to damages and shortages.
- You will match supplier and interbranch invoices with receiving from warehouse and purchase order and other supplementary documents as required, using appropriate general ledger coding to clear any discrepancies.
- You will prepare and process supplier claims and receiving adjustments as required. In addition, provide supporting documents.
- You will complete the action required on Damage and Shortage Reports.
- You will work closely with FCL commodities and distribution centres to ensure timely and accurate matching of purchase orders, receipt of goods, invoices and address discrepancies. Contact vendors and suppliers to resolve issues if discrepancies occur. Assist the Accounts Payable team with resolving and clearing system mismatches.
- You will create manual claims, investigate claim disputes, and prepare journal entries using the correct company ID general ledger codes
- You will distribute mail and generate reports to the various regions, manage overage lists and complete other duties as assigned

- You have a High School Diploma and two (2) post-secondary courses in financial accounting (from an accredited post-secondary institution).
- You have a minimum of one (1) year of relevant accounting experience.
