We are currently seeking an Accounting Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the following:

- Client package preparation including projections, quarterly financial update packages, and other engagements as retained.
- Provide prompt and accurate bookkeeping with regards to accounts receivable and accounts payable entries, invoicing, bank and credit card reconciliations, and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Support to insurance service line including data entry, client service.
- Collect information, data entry, tracking & management of benchmarking project
- Maintain filing systems
- Coverage of other office team duties as required for time-off.
- Attend all required office meetings.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience working in an office environment or similar role.
- Previous bookkeeping and general accounting experience.
- Experience or background in agriculture would be considered an asset.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team.
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks at hand.
- Must have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks daily or weekly depending on workload.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)
