AECOM is seeking a Operational Readiness Director to join our Transit & Rail Systems Team to work with multidisciplinary teams delivering an existing portfolio of projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help develop strategic plans; build relationships with public and private clients (contractors) and the industry leaders.
- Lead and manage a growing operational readiness team to deliver medium and large-scale projects with respect to Operational Readiness in industries such as rail & transit, buildings, aviation, healthcare etc. by ensuring suitable skills and competencies are identified, planned, and developed.
- Contribute to key pursuit planning and bid and project delivery resource planning.
- Help identify, attract, and assist in recruiting additional operational readiness, as well as retain, and develop staff to grow the operational readiness service.
- Support projects in terms of Operational Readiness coordinating with internal assurance readiness groups and provide a dedicated liaison between the stakeholder groups.
- Collaborates with clients and internal teams to create readiness strategies to ensure programmatic and transition requirements for implementation are met and delivered.
- Leads consultation, engagement, procurement and development of content and plans.
- Deep dive analysis of current state and review of findings.
- RACI development in coordination with relevant stakeholders such as Systems and Commissioning leads.
- Implementation of governance structures
- Focus on stakeholder’s interface management to drive project deliverables.
- Develop new, review existing and strategize opportunities to process and procedures considering project timelines.
- Responsible for leading operational readiness functions; oversees the development, implementation and delivery of appropriate management governance, tool kits and skills to effectively manage the introduction, adoption and sustainment of operational readiness.
- Creates and implements operational readiness strategies.
- Provides support and coaching to clients and stakeholders on operational readiness principles and processes to ensure efficient and successful transitions.
- Oversees the preparation of operational readiness management plans and works with internal and delivery teams and other stakeholders to execute the plans.
- Performs quality control.
- Reporting to Vice Principle level and works under mínimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.

**Qualifications**
- **Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline + 10 years of experience in operational readiness, Project and Program Management and transformational change OR Technical Diploma + 12 years of experience in in operational readiness, Project and Program Management and transformational change OR Highschool + 14 years of relevant experience in operational readiness, Project and Program Management and transformational change.
- 6+ years experience with business analysis
- 6+ years experience with digital transformation
- PMP
- Driving License
- **Preferred Qualifications**:

- Used to implement and work under the principles of following standards such as ISO 15288 Systems Engineering Life Cycle processes & Requirements management.
- 5 years experience in Systems Engineering and Transit & Rail industry
