**WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?**

As a Head of HR Corporate Functions, you play a critical role in aligning human resources strategies with the overall business objectives of the organization. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and an in-depth understanding of HR practices.

The Head of HR Corporate Functions collaborates closely with business leaders, providing guidance on various HR matters to foster a positive work environment, employee engagement, and operational success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with business leaders to understand their objectives and align HR strategies to support organizational goals.
- Act as a consultant to management, offering insights on workforce planning, talent development, and employee relations.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues, promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify talent gaps and implement strategies for recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
- Support employee development through training initiatives and performance management processes.
- Implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Support the performance management process, providing coaching to managers on setting goals, conducting evaluations, and addressing performance issues.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend improvement strategies.
- Assist in organizational change initiatives, providing guidance on communication, training, and employee engagement during periods of transition.
- Proactively identify potential challenges and propose solutions to mitigate resistance to change.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Long standing experience as HR Business Partner for corporate functions or a similar strategic HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and industry best practices.
- CHRL or SHRM is an asset
- Strong ability to produce, read, analyze, and interpret human resource related documents
- Exceptional communication skill to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to employee groups, and management at all levels of the company
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office is required.
- Travel will be required (30%+) and will include international travel
- Valid Driver's license and valid passport is a must
