We are looking for an experienced maintenance crew lead to join our maintenance team. Our crews follow pre-established schedules in the summer (know your schedule for the month ahead) specifications, and procedures. This position can be a year round position, transitioning to snow removal in the winter for any interested crew members.

What your day would look like as a member of our team:

- You show up wearing the proper gear and ready for the day ahead with a positive attitude ready to lead your crew for the day ahead.
- You would pick up company truck and trailer and any equipment needed for the day up from our yard (centrally located in Manchester Industrial) along with any crew members you will be working with for the day and head to your first site.
- You have your phone (which we pay you an extra $20 allowance every pay) so you can see where you are going, and who you are working with and get updates throughout the day as needed.
- We work on large housing or commercial sites, some days you will be at only a couple of sites since they are large and require a lot of care, other days you will be caring for a number of smaller sites, sometimes with a crew of up to 4 people (including yourself) sometimes just yourself or yourself with one other crew member.
- Each week can be a little different but generally will involve mowing, trimming, weeding and caring for the outdoors, making sites beautiful and clean for the people who live or work there. _**This position is for our gardening crew, will still be mowing and trimming but mostly focused on weeding etc.**_
- _**Help with gravel sweeps, spring clean and fall clean ups during season changes**_
- Sometimes we will have a special project that you will help out with such as planting, or clearing out undergrowth etc.
- You get to be outside, in a physically active job and generally will always have every weekend off unless we have a rainy week that we need to catch up from.
- You would communicate with management of anything required, repairs needed etc but we would also be looking for you to take initiative, if you can troubleshoot and solve issues as they arise and then just let us know, that’s what we are really looking for.

What we are looking for
- Minimum 4 years of landscaping maintenance and gardening experience is preferred, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Great working knowledge of maintenance equipment and gardening tools - mowers, trimmers, blowers, pruners, hedge clippers etc - how to use them, troubleshoot them etc.
- _**Someone who has experience gardening/weeding etc for a company - not just your yard but for multiple sites.**_
- Someone who will be motivated, responsible and has an eye for detail, our clients count on us to be particular and treat their properties as our own.
- _**Someone who is able to be insured under the company insurance and able to drive a truck & trailer (25 years+ of age, 3 years continuous insurance, clean drivers abstract - these are the requirements of our insurance policy)**Deal breaker, must have**_

We pay industry standard competitive wages based on previous experience and skills. Work is available until November with potential to join our snow crew for the winter.
