**Ascari Events and Catering is looking for a Catering Prep Cook to join the team**

**Location: 3419 Dundas Street West, Toronto, Ontario**

Each and every step is thoughtfully considered, from the ingredients to the level of service.

In addition to bespoke menus of the same caliber one would find at any of Ascari Hospitality Group restaurants, the scope of service encompasses curated wines and spirits, full event design & decor, and quality staffing.

**Primary Duties/Responsibilities**
- Contribute to producing quality food products for off-site events, catering events as well as other Ascari Hospitality Group restaurant locations
- Having ownership and accountability for food preparation and production
- Ensure consistency of product for all guests by way of portion control standards set by the Chef de Cuisine
- Maintain a positive attitude when working with the full kitchen team
- Follow safe food handling techniques and ensure a clean and organized station
**Skills/Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of kitchen experience in a similar and relevant role
- Food Handler’s Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- Possesses strong organizational skills
- Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
