**What You'll Be Contributing**

Reporting to the Lead Technical Services Engineer, you will be exposed to and required to balance material science, technical capability, strategy, marketing, sales and management.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Technical Services of Cementations Products:

- Assist Field Engineer during field testing concrete at customer sites, offering troubleshooting and technical expertise in relation to production and product development
- Work with customers in the development and implementation of new solutions
- Promote Ash Grove products to users and Engineering specifiers of cement
- Maintain highly positive company profile through participation in industry associations
- Work with the Marketing team to help strengthen the link between managing customer needs around quality, while focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility

**Qualifications**

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s/University Degree preferably in Engineering (in progress)

Work Requirements
- Extensive travel required between sites

Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- Knowledge of the Energy/ waste sector, Construction Industry and Engineering Building Design sector
- Ability to organize and write effective technical reports and communicate effectively with a high level of technical skill
- A strategic thinker, able to identify opportunities and manage new ideas and projects
- A self-starter with strong sense of initiative to be able to think outside the box and motivate and coordinate diverse teams
- Ability to work on large concepts down to finite details
- Advanced interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently
- Energetic with strong business acumen
- A self-starter that has the ability to collaborate with a number of teams

**Physical Requirements**

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- This position may require some lifting of objects no heavier than fifty pounds (50 lbs.)
- This is sedentary in nature but may require occasional periods of standing and walking
- This position requires extensive driving to remote parts of Ontario
