**Job Title**: Warehouse Associate

**Reports To**: The position will report to Management

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The warehouse associates have a variety of duties perform in a warehouse. They are responsible from receiving orders to retrieving and shipping.
∙ Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
∙ Labeling, organize and keeping record of the product based on the company guidelines
∙ Move product in the freezer and to towing area following the proper procedure
∙ Inspect products for defects and damages
∙ Cleaning product space and securing damaged or defective product
∙ Organizing how items move in and out of the warehouse
∙ Prepare goods by moving quickly and keeping orders ready for delivery upon receiving purchase orders
∙ Review orders to ensure they pack and process correctly by documenting and coordinating shipments
∙ Organize warehouse space
∙ Transporting product inside the warehouse using forklift, pallet jack and other manual and powered equipment
∙ Will also have miscellaneous duties required for processing products, receiving items and shipping items within the warehouse
∙ Assist in maintaining security of the warehouse buildings and stocks
∙ Consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head
∙ Maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.

**Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements**:
∙ Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours and statutory holidays
∙ Be prepared to stand long time and to hands on dealing with products and lifting of products of 50 pounds on a regular basis
∙ Able to follow and response to written and verbal instructions promptly and correctly
∙ Possess valid Fork Lift or Pallet Jack license
∙ Be prepared to work in low temperature environment (0-4 ℃) and/or in freezing environment (-27 ℃) occasionally
∙ Have a good understanding of tools & equipment relevant to the job and know how to interpret labels of merchandises

∙ Possess knowledge of workplace health & safety

Location: Nanaimo, British Columbia

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
