Early Childhood Educator- Summer Position and Casual

We are looking for Early Childhood Educators for the summer months and for casual/on call position. We like our staff to be energetic, dynamic, self-motivated and reliable.

**Level 1/2/3 preferred. Wage is based on Level and experience.**

Tiny Hoppers incorporates FLIGHT, Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework and welcomes and supports those with practicums.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Ensuring you are adhering to the Early Learning and Child Care Licensing Act and Regulations at all times
- Interacting with children
- Creating interesting and fun programming based on the interests of the children (emergent curriculum)
- Keeping classrooms neat, clean and tidy
- Creating a positive relationship and good communication with parents
- Maintaining records in accordance to the Early Learning and Child Care Licensing Act and Regulations
- Communicating and interacting positively with coworkers, the children, Director and owners.
- Communicating any concerns or issues to DIRECTOR immediately
- Special Event planning
- KEEPING CHILDREN SAFE
- Other duties upon request.

**Requirements**:

- Current CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)
- Current police clearance with vulnerable sector Immunized
- Good organizational skills and communication (Oral and written)
- Must have ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch and kneel
- Must be able to assist with our planned daily program and activities
- Must be able to keep classroom clean and tidy
- Must be able to maintain proper documentation, log books and staff communication books
- Must be able to communicate and interact positively with parents, co-workers and the children

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Daycare: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- ECE Level 1/2/3 (required)
