**Job title: Special Events and Production Project Manager**

**Responsibilities**
- Meet with stakeholders to gain an understanding of the project purpose and objectives.
- Develop and present proposals including creative theme development and conception.
- Coordinate event logistics and services, including technology, equipment, props/costumes, furniture, and any F&B required.
- Manage budgets.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts.
- Supervise staff, assign duties, and provide general direction.
- Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems.
- Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations.
- Oversee video production and graphic design.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business, or Communications (or currently studying and/or working towards)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in creative/event planning and project management
- Comfort with managing video production and graphic design related to the event (ex. review client requests and ensure production requirements are met)
- Strong Project Management skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong knowledge of Zoom and other video conferencing platforms
- Driver’s licence is required.
- Proficient in both English and French (oral and written)

**Job Type**:

- Full-time

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability if required for a specific project

**Travel**:

- 25% (preferred)

**Work Location**:

- One location or project-specific venue

**Work Remotely**:

- Yes (unless presence is required in office or on-site for specific projects)
