We are seeking a **part-time live-out building superintendent **for five 4-hour shifts per week. The Waterview is a 42-unit condominium property located in Portland Hills in Dartmouth. Our property is professionally managed by Novacorp Properties Limited and the superintendent, who will be instrumental in maintaining the property to a high standard, will work closely with the property manager.

The on-going duties of this position include:

- Performing daily inspections of common areas to ensure maintenance, cleaning and overall safety are being maintained to the building's standards.
- Performing daily/weekly/monthly maintenance to maintain the high standard of the building.
- Meeting with contractors, when required.
- You will organize, oversee, and schedule the use of the elevator, for move-in, move-outs, resident renovations, regular contractor work, all through communication with the property manager and residents.
- Becoming familiar with the building amenities, mechanical equipment, and safety equipment to be able to answer resident and property management inquiries, ensure resident safety and communicate any issues with the building's operation to the property manager.
- Experience with completing basic repairs (ie: paint touch-ups, wall repairs, etc.) would be considered an asset.

Tenant Relations:

- Assisting residents with building related inquiries as well as documenting any maintenance concerns and communicating those promptly to the property manager for repair.
- Addressing any concerns that may affect the resident's overall enjoyment of their residency including noise issues and security concerns and general compliance to the by-laws.
- 2 years experience in building management or as a Superintendent is preferred.

20 hours per week. $25/ per hour.
