**Job description**

iScope Concussion & Pain Clinics is Canada’s only national specialty medical and rehabilitation centre housing a specialist-led multidisciplinary team who are ready to address all aspects of our patient's recovery.

Our team includes sub-specialized physicians, nurse practitioners, rehabilitation professionals and technologists who are committed to advancing the care of concussion, pain, and neurological disorders. From testing and diagnosing to conducting treatment, we treat all physical, cognitive, emotional, and sleep-related symptoms under one roof.

Our company is passionate about enriching the health of Canadians through am interdisciplinary approach to rehabilitative care. This is at the heart of everything we do, and we are seeking a Kinesiologist/Physiotherapy Assisstantwho shares this same philosophy.

**Responsibilities**
- Implement and execute active therapy programs for all in-person physio patients as directed by the treating physiotherapist
- Accurately document patient SOAP notes after completing active therapy session with patient
- Create and prepare home exercise sheets to send to patients as needed
- Assist treating physiotherapist with ongoing treatment plan submissions
- Fax/Upload reports completed by Physiotherapist to insurance companies as needed
- Assist with other physiotherapy administrative tasks as needed
- Perform high quality customer service

**Required Qualifications & Skills**
- Experience with concussion rehabilitation preferred.
- Basic clinical skills in rehabilitation and modalities such as ultrasound, TENs (though ongoing training provided)
- Knowledge and experience with WSIB, MVA, and Universal programming is an asset
- Strong Medical Terminology
- Ability to motivate and inspire patients during treatment and/or consultations
- University education with a Kinesiology degree is an asset
- Registered Kinesiologists in good standing is preferred
- Direct patient care experience
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills is a must
- 1-2 years of direct patient care experience in kinesiology/physiotherapy assistant role.
- Excellent knowledge of exercise prescription/supervision

**Job Type**: Part-time

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- working in a Kinesiologist role or a physiotherapy assistant: 1 year (preferred)
