R3 Physiotherapy and Wellness is a multi-disciplinary clinic located in Mississauga. Our clinic specializes in therapy for pain-free movement, increased mobility and improving performance. Our approach is to first reset and re-balance the body through manual therapy, mobility work and soft tissue release. Once our patient's body starts moving in-sync and pain free, we then focus on the exercise therapy to help our patients reach optimal health and top performance. We also offer Chiropractic, Registered Massage, Acupuncture, Kinesiology as well as Custom Bracing, Orthotics and Compression Stockings.

Reporting to the Clinical Director, Program Supervisor, PTAs and Kinesiologists, the volunteer will gain in-depth experience in the skills that are essential in the industry, including direct involvement in patient care in a busy multidisciplinary clinic. The tasks you may be requested to do can involve active and passive foam rolling, stretching, ultrasound, IFC modalities and cleaning/sanitizing.

A clinic volunteer is an aid to all practitioners and administrative staff at R3 Physiotherapy and Wellness. Volunteers help with various tasks to make our services run smoothly, and will be given the opportunity to shadow and learn from our health care professionals.

Previous clinical experience is NOT required, as training will be provided. However we ask that applicants be in the process of earning their Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or a related field (basic knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and training principles would be an asset). Applicants who are currently in high school, or have not yet started their post-secondary education will not be considered for this position.

Volunteers are asked to be able to commit to 5-10 hours per week. Volunteers must also be able to commit to our volunteer program for a MINIMUM of 4 months.

We are currently recruiting volunteers for the following shifts:

- Monday
- Tuesday
- Wednesday
- Friday
- Saturday
