Dundas, Canada Ox Fleet Care Full time

Ox Equipment is looking for a summer student to join our team as a Yard Maintenance Worker to keep our Peter Corner’s yard (Hwy 52, Dundas) in good condition. This is the perfect summer job for a high school student.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform maintenance duties, including debris control, litter picking, grass cutting and weed trimming.
- General organization and tidying of yard.
- Cleaning of property and equipment.
- Assist with the loading/unloading of equipment as required
- Assist with general duties within the shop, lunchroom, washroom and common areas.
- Other duties as assigned.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:

- G or G2 class driver’s license
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office
- Ability to work independently and safety oriented
- Ability to operate front end loaders, skid steers and tractors would be considered an asset
- Flexibility and organizational skills to multi-task and manage time in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to accurately document daily activities, incident reports and deficiency logs.

**SCHEDULE & WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Outdoor work, exposed to all types of weather conditions
- Physical labor demands - must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Varying start time, season dependent. 6:00am-8:00am

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3-4 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

**Experience**:

- Facilities Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G or G2 License (required)
