**Westpro Machinery Inc. **is an innovative Canadian company with an experienced engineering team that designs and manufactures mineral processing equipment. We have a global presence and over 30 years’ experience in the mining industry with worldwide manufacturing capabilities and equipment installations in over 20 countries.

Our Vernon office is located downtown surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants amenities.

The company has an immediate opening for an **Accounting Clerk**.

**Our Immediate Need**:

- Bookkeeping, data entry, job costing, general office accounting/admin duties and the backup support to the Senior Accounting Clerk.

**Education and Certifications**:

- College Office Assistant Certificate
- Enrolment in the ACAF Certification Program
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or Commerce majoring in accounting, management, economics, statistics, or business law.

**Experience and Skills**:

- Expert skills in MS Excel, MS Word and QuickBooks,
- Previous accounting experience in a manufacturing accounting and job costing,
- Enjoys working with numbers, calculations and issuing reports,
- Professional, articulate, driven, creative, persuasive, organized, personable with a positive attitude,
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills required,
- Deadlines are frequent, so work schedule flexibility is essential.

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
