**Position Summary: Canadian Tax Manager**

We are seeking an experienced Canadian Tax Manager to join our growing Tax Group. This leadership role works closely with our Tax Group leaders and supports the day-to-day management of the firm’s tax practice.

The role focuses on domestic tax compliance and planning for a wide range of clients, including individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, and privately held CCPCs. You’ll also collaborate with our US Tax Group on cross-border matters and play a key role in coaching and developing junior team members.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead tax planning and compliance engagements for Canadian individuals and corporations
- Serve as tax lead on small and medium-sized client files
- Collaborate with the US Tax Team when cross-border filings are required
- Plan and organize tax return preparation, and review work for quality and completeness
- Conduct tax research and communicate findings clearly to leadership and clients
- Provide daily coaching and mentoring to junior tax team members
- Build strong relationships with clients and deliver exceptional service

**Qualifications**
- CPA designation and completion of CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course (Parts I, II, and III)
- 7-10 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on domestic tax
- Strong technical expertise in personal, corporate, and trust returns; estate planning; and reorganizations
- Experience leading client engagements and developing junior staff
- Proficiency with Taxprep, Caseware, CCH (tax research), and Microsoft Office
- US tax knowledge or experience is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

**Work Remotely**
- Hybrid Work Schedule (2-3 days in office)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
