If so, we want you to join our talented group of nursing staff as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)

As a Personal Support Worker you will:
Assist in providing direct care for residents;
Provide emotional and social support to residents/families, including palliative care;
Work with multi-disciplinary team members to meet the needs of residents;
Support your team

PSW Program Certificate or Diploma that meets the appropriate standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities, the National Association of Career Colleges, or the Ontario Community Support Association;
Has passion and heart for providing quality care;
Knowledge and experience in care planning systems and documentation required;
Ability to communicate positively with other staff, residents, and families;
Provides assistance with routine care services, including hygiene and general well-being or residents;
Ensures residents comfort and assists in various activities of daily living;
Participates in maintaining resident’s autonomy and answering emergency calls as received.

Qualifications:
Certification as a personal support worker or equivalent is required;
Must be able to effectively communicate in English (written and spoken);
Must possesses current First Aid certificate or willing to acquire;
Must provide proof of TB screening, vulnerable sector police check and Covid-19 Vaccination.

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- On call
- Overtime
