**Your role**
- Do you have the experience processing corporate actions? Are you a master of investigations? Do you know how to take care of clients?
- We’re looking for a Corporate Actions Specialist to:
- receive all corporate action notifications from custody network, examine and investigate further to ensure accurate and timely entry into to the bank's corporate action systems
- ensure all affected clients are notified on a timely basis
- ensure corporate actions are accurately processed including asset set-up, tax implications and book value adjustments
- monitor domestic and global proxy activity including Shareholder Rights Directive II
- monitor dividend/coupon record changes and reconcile income received to custodian records
- account for withholding taxes and reclaim receipts as needed
- identify, recommend and assist in implementing processes/controls/productivity improvements

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in the Operations Team in Toronto. We’re responsible for the correct and timely processing of corporate action transactions, tax reporting and other functions. As a Corporate Actions Specialist, you’ll play an important role in acting as a direct contact and problem solver for clients and business partners.
- The Operations Team is a diverse and dynamic group and we will provide ample opportunity to cross train and learn new skills

**Your expertise**
- 3 years' relevant experience in the financial/securities industry specifically in the Entitlement and Corporate Action operation areas
- completion of the Canadian Securities Course is an asset
- excellent analytical/accounting skills to accurately determine complex entitlement payments and finalize corporate actions processes
- strong organizational skills, ability to plan and prioritize regular tasks and special projects through to completion meeting strict deadlines in a time sensitive environment
- excellent written and verbal communication, ability to write clearly and concisely and effectively interact with external/internal stakeholders
