What You Offer:
**The Position**:
This is a full-time, permanent position based out of our Support Office and will report to the P&C Business Partner (PCBP). The Volunteer Coordinator will play a vital role in engaging the community and supporting organizational capacity. Also, ensures a meaningful and impactful volunteer experience while aligning volunteer contributions with purpose and core values of the organization.
- Collaborate with the team to identify volunteer/ practicum student needs and support recruitment strategies.
- Manage the onboarding process, including screening and documentation, to ensure readiness for program integration.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records using DonorPerfect and ensure data integrity.
- Ensure comprehensive volunteer/ practicum experience as well as facilitate training.
- Support Team Leads, Supervisors, and Management with volunteer and practicum management.
- Perform other job-related activities as required

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum education requirement of a University or College degree in Human Resources, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in volunteer coordination, HR, or community engagement; nonprofit sector experience preferred.
- Experience working with volunteer databases or CRM systems; knowledge of DonorPerfect is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and record-keeping.
- Collaborative and responsive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in volunteer engagement.
- Clear Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check
