**Position Scope**

As a Field Service Technician, you will be part of a successful field technical team in the industrial food processing industry that provides the opportunity to develop your technical skills, entrepreneurial skills and business acumen while travelling the world You will focus on providing authentic, and exceptional service to best meet clients’ needs. The role is more than just a job, you will be part of a supportive family that is committed to customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Start up and commissioning at job site
- Reading electrical and engineering blueprints and schematics
- Perform tasks involving physical labor
- Operate hand and power tools
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and refrigeration components
- Minor programming changes
- Coordinating and reporting of required tasks
- Quality control of products
- Frequently travel to customer jobsites (Canada, USA and/or overseas) as required

**Qualifications & Abilities**
- Minimum 1 year of experience with electrical or mechanical refrigeration industry, or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Knowledge of safe working procedures and practices
- Able to effectively communicate and problem solve with supervisors and team members
- Being available and willing to travel for a substantial percentage of the time.
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas is an asset but not required: Industrial Electrical; Industrial Controls-Industrial Refrigeration; Programming; Stainless steel TIG welding

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
