**Rate of Pay**: 25.05/hour per BCGEU Collective Agreement, Grid Level 10, Step 1

The East Kootenay Inclusive Child Care Support program, under Community Connections Society of Southeast B.C., is seeking Inclusive Child Care Workers in Invermere, BC. This is an opportunity to work on an enthusiastic and supportive team, playing a significant role in enhancing the development of children and building a spirit of inclusion in the community. Inclusive Child Care Workers provide enhanced staffing support in community programs and are a collaborative team member to that program.

**Qualifications**:
The applicants will have their Early Childhood Education Certification, Early Childhood Education Assistant or Responsible Adult certificate. Experience working in the field of childcare/early childhood development is preferred and accordingly, preference will be given to applicants who have training, skills and/or experience working with children with a range of developmental delays, disabilities and/or diverse challenges. Applicants with Education Assistant training and work experience will be considered. Applicants that have other experience working with children may also be considered.

Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and be passionate about inclusion.

Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with young children and an awareness of developmentally appropriate practice.

**Other Requirements**
- Successful criminal record screening.
- Membership with BCGEU.
- Have transportation to go between different community programs.
