We are seeking an experienced and skilled **Civil Construction Foreman** to join our team at Draycor Construction. As a Civil Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. **Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of construction workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality work.
- Plan and schedule daily activities, assigning tasks and responsibilities to crew members, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Monitor and inspect ongoing construction work, addressing any issues or obstacles that arise promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of any problems.
- Maintain accurate records of daily progress, materials used, and labor hours for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among the crew.
- Conduct regular site meetings to communicate project updates, objectives, and expectations to the team.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years’ experience in civil construction
- 5 years’ work experience in site management.
- Solid knowledge of civil construction processes, techniques, and standards.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them on-site.
- Familiar with excavations, preparing sites to grade, and installation of sewer, storm, water, streetlighting, hydro, Shaw, and Telus utilities..
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, specifications, equipment, and OH&S guidelines
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments.

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- site management: 5 years (preferred)
- civil construction: 5 years (required)
