**PLEASE NOTE - This is full-time permanent, on-site position**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Write scripts for diverse media formats, such as radio, TV, paid digital advertising (Meta, Google, TikTok), and podcast mentions.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and error-free copy.
- Employ different writing styles, incorporating an engaging tone and a sense of humor when appropriate.
- Utilize and learn digital tools and platforms, including collaboration tools (Slack, Figma), content management systems (WordPress), and project management software (Asana).
- Understand and evaluate industry trends and terminology quickly, particularly in the financial sector in Canada, to provide valuable insights and innovative ideas.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven verbal and written English fluency.
- Minimum of three years of copywriting experience, following best practices across multiple channels.
- Demonstrated ability to craft compelling and emotive copy that drives business results.
- Comfortable using or quickly learning digital tools and platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice to have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or Journalism.
- Experience writing and recording scripts for various digital media platforms is a plus.

Desired Skills:

- Strong storytelling abilities with a customer-first approach.
- Proficiency in creating content for diverse channels and media.
- Ability to write in different styles, with an engaging tone and a sense of humor.
- Familiarity with digital collaboration and project management tools.
- Understanding of financial trends and events in Canada, with the ability to integrate this knowledge into copy.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to offer new ways to deliver value and breakthrough thinking in copy creation.
