- **PROJECT OVERVIEW**

Requisition Title:
Strategic Vendor Management

Description:
The Strategic Vendor Management (SVM) Interim Office is tasked with carrying out specific deliverables as a result of the 2022/2023 OAGO Audit Recommendation and Framework. These deliverables include:

- addressing 5 audit recommendations to be completed in FY2025 addressing the structure and development of an SVM program in FY2026. The main goal of the audit recommendations and response is to ensure IT Vendor oversight, compliance and ensuring value for money for GovTec third party vendors providing IT services to Ontario.

The successful Contractor will:

- Provide program management leadership and expertise of large scale, highly complex, high profile and high-risk initiatives that may be multi-jurisdictional and/or enterprise-wide.
- Ensure accountability for the SVM program initiative's centralized group of projects and their successful full life cycle delivery.
- Ensure SVM program initiatives are delivered cost effectively and efficiently, and in compliance with organization’s methodologies, standards and frameworks.

The successful Contractor will:

**DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES**

Deliverables:

- Provide program management leadership and expertise of large scale, highly complex, high profile, and high-risk initiatives that may be multi-jurisdictional and/or enterprise-wide.
- Ensure accountability for the SVM program initiative's centralized group of projects and their successful full life cycle delivery.
- Ensure SVM program initiatives are delivered cost-effectively and efficiently and in compliance with the organization’s methodologies, standards, and frameworks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide Strategic Advisory services to ensure high-quality vendor services meet ministry objectives.
- Ensure vendor relationships are continuously optimized and provide strategic value to the IT organization; capturing data and developing continuous improvement recommendations to support vendor management.
- Work in partnership with GovTechON IT Clusters and Enterprise IT divisions to develop, monitor and maintain Relationship Charters with assigned vendor portfolios including Strategic Partnership Success Plans.
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders to establish, prioritize and track strategic requirements included in the success plans.
- Provide vendor orchestration services with Clusters to manage and measure performance of the overall relationship between GovTechON and strategic vendors.
- Capture and deliver reporting and insights on 3rd IT Vendors usage and management to the Governance including identifying and pursuing value opportunities for GovTechON in partnership with I&IT Clusters and Enterprise IT Divisions.
- Collate and analyze vendor management data to enable horizontal review across GovTechON.
- Provide Strategic Vendor Orchestration services by partnering with GovTechON IT Divisions and I&IT Clusters and conduct Vendor Annual reviews, strategic development plans etc.
- Communicate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and document key controls to ensure ongoing compliance with OPS policies and directives.
