Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies, site regulations, and safety procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre
- and post-shift inspections to assess equipment condition and ensure operational readiness.
- Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any deficiencies, abnormal sounds or odors, or indicators of mechanical issues.
- Adjust equipment operation based on ground conditions and material handling requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed to maintain equipment performance.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a mining environment is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts, rotating days and nights.

This position currently follows a 21-day shift rotation working 10-hour day and night shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. The shift rotation is 7 days, 4 off, 5 nights, 5 off.
