Here's how**: - Medical benefits - Group RRSP and group Mortgage through RBC - Fully equipped staff gym - Year round company events, lunches, BBQ's and Fun Nights **Summary**:The Shipping/Warehouse Supervisor manages the warehouse activities and supervises shipping and receiving **Primary Responsibilities of the Shipping and Warehouse Supervisor**: - Oversees and coordinates all activities in the warehouse - Supervises and directs shipping/receiving - Keeps construction equipment and tools clean and in working condition - Maintains daily inventory of eqipemnt and construction supplies - Signs eqipment and tools in and out - Keeps warehouse and yard clean and tidy - Communicates effectively with other staff - Operates the company "store and rental center" - Works closely with delivery drivers and scheduling - Monitors the building and equipment and reports deficiencies/problems to the maintenance department - Follows all safety and food-safe procedures and complies with company policies - Performs other related duties and tasks as required to meet the needs of our operations **Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications of the Shipping & Warehouse Supervisor**: - Team-player - Time Management - Computer Proficient - Self starter - Some handyman ability - Propane/Electric Forklift - Strong attention to detail - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Sense of urgency and omfortable working in a fast-paced environment - Minimum 3 years Warehouse Management experience **Hours**:Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm. **Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time **Salary**: From $28.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site gym - On-site parking - RRSP match Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Port Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - warehouse: 3 years (preferred) Work Location: One location
