**Qualifications/Educational Requirements**

Successful completion of a Provincial-approved Health Care Aide or equivalent is a must.

Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-Minimum 2 doses

Ability to read, write, and speak English as needed for the job

Possess a **Valid Driver's License** and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job

Access to a smartphone to utilize GPS clock in/out technology and client care documentation.

**This shift will be casual work and based all over Edmonton. Must have a reliable vehicle and a drivers license.**

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed health plans.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans diligently.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene practices and safety protocols in home care settings.
- Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications.

Expected hours: 2 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only
