- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments to evaluate clients' movement patterns, physical limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
- Work collaboratively with clients to set and achieve functional goals, integrating both kinesiology principles and Pilates techniques
- .Carry out rehabilitation and fitness training sessions tailored to each client's needs, combining kinesiology assessments and Pilates exercises
- Educate and guide clients through their prescribed treatment plans, providing them with the tools to improve strength, flexibility, and functional movement.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss client conditions, needs, and progress, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
- Document and chart patient progress using electronic charting software, and provide medical information as required.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, techniques, and advancements in both kinesiology and Pilates to ensure high-quality care and effective treatments.
- **Qualifications and Skills**:_
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field.
- Certification as a Kinesiologist or eligibility for certification.
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and common medical conditions.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Proven organizational skills, with experience in documenting and tracking patient progress using electronic charting software.
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese) is an asset..

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Kinesiologist: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- BCAK British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (required)
- PMA Certification | Stott Pilates Certification (required)

Work Location: In person
