The Manager, Project Portfolio is integral to the success of the Technology & IT Services Management team, and to CAAT’s guiding mission and growth strategy.

The Manager, Project Portfolio's primary objective is to optimize the utilization of IT and business resources, aiming to extract the utmost value and benefits from objects within the strategic portfolio. You will act as a primary resource to the senior leadership assigned to oversee the portfolios. Understand and lead the implementation of best practices surrounding Optimization, Portfolio Governance, Execution, and Portfolio Benefits Measurement.

**We are looking for someone with**:

- A degree in business administration, related field or comparable experience in computer information systems
- Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in IT and business/industry
- Ten (10) plus years of project management experience including Project Portfolio Management
- Over ten (10) years of experience working in diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs
- Project management Professional (PMP) certification is required
- Agile Certification (PMI-ACP) / Scrum Master (CSM) Certification Preferred
- An ability to develop a project management framework that is fit for purpose with the ability to adapt as the organization increases in project management maturity.
- Solid leadership and emotional intelligence skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence others.
- Ability to identify opportunities for change, and influence change, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, including an ability to prepare high-level reports to the Executive and external parties.
- Project & Portfolio Delivery - Significant experience in leading major high-profile

portfolios within agreed parameters of time, cost, and quality

**Once here you will**:

- Lead, facilitate, and coordinate senior leadership efforts in establishing the project portfolio’s definition, structure, and processes, encompassing demand management, strategic alignment, evaluation, prioritization, execution, and result tracking
- Engage with senior business and IT stakeholders through periodic review, the position ensures validation, assessment, change execution, and reprioritization of the project portfolio to meet evolving business needs
- Oversee and resolve dependencies across projects, maintain a delivery roadmap, manage prioritization and resourcing, facilitate IT Strategy alignment, and advise executives on optimizing the project portfolio for maximum business value
- Direct the development and maintenance of communications and reporting around the project portfolios, their contents, and the individual performance of initiatives to stakeholders, the steering committee, and senior executives
- Ensure the adherence to appropriate governance functions for the portfolio, in line with CAAT’s guidelines, policies, and practices on behalf of the portfolio review team and steering committees, while also overseeing regular health checks of project QA checklists, scheduling key tollgates, monitoring change management processes, and sharing best practices, as well as directing the creation and maintenance of necessary project portfolio documentation and artifacts.
