**Job Title**: Day Porter

**Location**: 939 Granville Street, Vancouver BC

**Wage**: $18/hr

**Shift**: Full Time, Monday to Friday - 8:00am - 4:00pm

**About the Role**:
We’re looking for a cleaner with a passion for a clean space This is a full-time opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service - keeping our communities safe & sanitized.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
- Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc.
- Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
- Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and window sills
- Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested
- Additional tasks assigned by Manager

**You have**:

- Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
- Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
- Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with mínimal supervision
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
- Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
- Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check
