**Job Overview**:
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate, monitor and efficiently maintain employees’ safety training requirements, schedules, and certificates in Absorb Learning Management System (LMS)
- Coordinate safety training; including determining requirements, vendor search, logistics and working with field employees
- Maintain Health and Safety MS SharePoint database and associated external databases - update documents to current format, monitor for expirations, maintain metadata, and create/optimize workflows, including integration with MS Teams channels
- Provide back-up Absorb support to other departments as required
- Manage facility inspection program schedule and inspections
- Monitor Action Item completion to ensure targets are met by coaching staff on overdue items
- Assist incident investigation teams with materials and resources
- Monitor and review safety supplies utilization to ensure quality and cost saving methods
- Participate in regional emergency response drills, meetings and tabletop exercises
- Assist leadership team by developing, coordinating and promoting safety awareness and recognition initiatives
- Provide critical review and proof-reading of documents for grammar and formatting, including spreadsheets and presentations
- Supporting member of OHS Committee, providing supporting documents and guidance to ad-Hoc safety learning teams / working groups
- Track, verify and process invoices for HSE and Support Services
- Provide back-up support to Office Services including reception coverage, stocking/tidying kitchen and tending to mail and courier services
- Provide support to other departments as required
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven ability to take the initiative, and the flexibility and adaptability to frequently changing priorities and deadlines while supporting multiple groups and individuals at every level
- Post-secondary education with a relevant certificate or diploma (e.g., Administrative Information Management)
- Tech savvy with an ability to learn new systems and processes
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Teams, and OpenInvoice is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated aptitude to proof, edit and format correspondence, presentations, and reports
- Team player as well as work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
