The Estimator (Internal) role at On Side plays a critical part of the Client Support Services (CSS) team, providing exceptional customer experience. They prepare cost / material estimates for the restoration of properties that have been hit by disasters.
Working alongside the Project Managers and Assistants, the Estimator ensures that estimates are completed correctly and on time in the Xactimate system. In relation to external estimates, this position must ensure quality and compliance are adhered to with customer protocols and service level agreements.

This position can be a work-from-home, hybrid (office/home), or office-based work arrangement from any of the following Québec-based locations: Gatineau, Mirabel, Laval, Montréal-East, Montréal-West or Québec City.

**The Estimator (Internal) is responsible for**:

- Ensuring that all drawings and line items are completed accurately following company specific protocols
- Ensuring all Xactimate estimate documentation is accurate
- Draft/review/upload Xactimate estimates in a timely manner
- Daily claim reviews to be completed for on-time uploading
- Ensuring that documentation that is uploaded into Xactanalysis accurately as per company specific protocols

**What you bring**
- Previous experience with Xactware software allowing you to sail through estimates like a pro
- Prior experience with drafting estimates and proofing them before they are submitted to the insurance companies
- Experience working for a post-disaster restoration company a strong asset
- A record for delivering top-notch customer service
- Confidence in written and spoken communications (especially French)
- 3 years’ office experience, resulting in your advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as the sound judgement and magically multi-tasking
- Ability to work through tough situations without taking it personally or letting it rattle you
- An interest and sense of “thrill” that drive your creative, out-of-the-box problem-solving
- Completion of a High School diploma (or equivalent)
- Must be a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident, or someone with legal authorization to work in Canada
