Heritage Christian Online School (HCOS) is a K-12 Online School providing fully accredited Christian education to students in BC.HCOS is a thriving online learning community offering K-12 home and online education to students across the province. HCOS provides flexible solutions and programming tailored to every child's learning journey. HCOS Education Assistants are independent contractors who are resourceful and innovative educators, providing student support to Home Learners within the Inclusive Education Department.

We are looking for a part-time Education Assistant to support students in their home for 15 - 20 hours a week.

As an Education Assistant, your duties and responsibilities will include:

- Support executive functioning and self-regulation
- Work collaboratively within a student’s support team
- Provide the social, spiritual, and academic learning needs of students, providing mentorship to the whole person
- Collaborate with the Case Manager and parent to support personalized learning opportunities
- Build relationships with families
- Support IEP goals

- Experience in differentiating learning for students of various proficiency levels
- Proficient in Zoom, Google Workspace, etc

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $23.50-$27.58 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week

Work Location: In person
