Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

**Assembler Job Duties**:

- Read, follow and understand engineering drawings and blueprints, determine the materials required, and plan the sequence of tasks to assemble components most efficiently
- Responsible for assembling parts, gears, seals, and hoists for water control gates, towers, and hoisting equipment
- Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite
- Perform “hang tests” on completed water control gates
- Install finished components in final product
- Assemble product using manual and automatic tooling
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform duties as per supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of high school diploma
- Minimum 4 years related experience
- Manual dexterity
- Able to climb, push, pull, stand for periods of time and sometimes work in awkward positions to assemble
- Manually lift up to 30lbs
