King Marketing is the leading manufacturers agency working in the hardware, home improvement and Mass merchant industry in Canada. King Marketing has been in business for over 50 years, and have an immediate opening for a Merchandising Representative calling on stores such as Home Depot, Rona, Walmart and other retailers. This SW Ontario Territory would include the greater Kitchener-Waterloo area, Cambridge, Brantford, and Guelph, plus as far West as London.

Join a team of engaged and professional representatives, some who have been with the company for more than 20 years, and work with some of the most recognized brands in the industry, such as American Standard, Blanco, Chamberlain, and Schlage.

- Organized and detail orientated.
- Good at multi tasking.
- Great communication skills.
- Attentive listener.
- Personable and at ease meeting people.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Representing a diverse manufacturer group at the retail stores.
- Providing product knowledge training to store staff and consumers.
- Shelf Maintenance, filling stock holes.
- Maintaining displays and point of purchase materials.
- Checking defective merchandise.
- Completing resets and new product introductions.
- Seeking out off shelf merchandising opportunities to grow sales.
- Reporting daily activities on a web-based reporting system.
- Organizing call schedules based on tasks and jobs to be completed.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships
- Conducting demos and attending contractor and consumer events.

**Education / Skills Required**
- High School Diploma
- Clean driving Licence
- Reliable Car
