**Job Title: Real Estate Analyst
**Reporting to the Senior Director, Leasing of the Montreal Real Estate Office, the Real Estate Analyst will provide administrative support and assist the Senior Director, Leasing and two (2) Leasing Managers in the leasing of a portfolio of properties in the greater Montreal area, primarily composed of office and industrial properties. The role also includes the administration of leasing files, the preparation and/or coordination of legal documents for the leasing of the portfolio, communication with existing tenants, assistance to the Senior Director and the Managers in the marketing and in the showing of available space, the negotiation of leases, the preparation of lease documentation, the reporting to senior management, and the preparation of comprehensive business solutions including strategic advice to the Senior Director and Managers on the Real Estate market and trends in the industry, leasing activity and project management for the local portfolio. The Real Estate Analyst is also assisting the Senior Director and the Managers with leasing budgets.

**Responsibilities, amongst others**:

- Prepare all legal documents including proposals, leases, lease amendments based upon existing standard templates, etc.
- Work closely with the leasing team in the negotiation of proposals, leases and lease agreements as well as other documentation.
- Fine-tuning of clauses to be inserted in legal and other documentation.
- Prepare letters, memos and other documentation as needed.
- Assist in translating clauses, letters, and diverse documentation from French to English, and vice versa.
- Update and verification of the internal leasing databank specifically related to the Tenant’s rights and various options.
- Update of proposals with quarterly company results.
- Provide support by updating files, and other record keeping tasks pertaining to maintenance and administration of leases.
- Maintaining up to date deal information on VTS.
- Maintaining monthly up to date stacking plans via Excel for various properties.
- Update and maintain various databanks such as deal registry, list of brokers, etc.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of various marketing initiatives such as monthly availability list, marketing flyers, etc.
- Gather and save various market information and market analysis for various reports, etc.
- Prepare documentation for transaction approvals/signatures and coordinate the circulation of documents for approvals/signatures and distribution/filing once signed.
- Assist in the coordination of Brokers and promotional events.
- Perform other tasks and related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

**Qualifications**:

- College Education in a real estate related field, such as Business / Finance / Accounting / Law, is required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in real estate, preferably in commercial real estate, paralegal designation is an asset.
- Knowledge of real estate legal documents and knowledge of real estate markets and trends.
- Understanding of accounting concepts related to real estate.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to process large amounts of paperwork and documentation and be able to plan and organize with strong multi-tasking skills.
- Teamwork and good relationship management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a dead-line oriented environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills as well as interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Flexibility in the face of ambiguous situations, shifting demands and challenging work environments.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- Detail oriented, with a high degree of accuracy.
