**Landscaping Labourer**

Reporting to the Landscaping Manager, the Landscaping Labourer is responsible for assisting the Foreman(s) and Lead Hand(s) and the rest of the crew with installing projects while following Salisbury standards.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist and support the Foreman and Lead Hands in completing the project
- Move soil and rock using a wheelbarrow
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- **Must be able to lift 50lbs**:

- Previous experience doing Landscape installation and renovation is an asset
- Reliable and Dependable
- Must have own transportation
- Willingness to learn
- Attention to detail

**Compensation**
- Hourly rate $20-$23 per hour
- Overtime paid out at 1.5 each pay period

**Landscaping Lead Hand**

**We are looking for a strong Lead Hand to help install landscape jobs and assist the Foreperson with various tasks. Applicants must have new installation and renovation experience. As well as the ability to read and understand Landscaping design plans**

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Lead Hand is responsible for assisting the Foreman(s) and the rest of the crew with installing the project while following Salisbury standards.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist and support the Foreperson in completing the project
- Assist in the training of crew and new employees
- Able to run a job in the absence of the Foreman
- Communicate with the Foreman on the progression of the project
- Assist in troubleshooting when issues arise
- Able to maintain and operate machinery on site

**Qualifications**
- **Must be able to lift 50lbs**:

- 2 years of Landscaping design to build or Construction Lead experience
- Valid Drivers license
- Able to read and interpret landscape plans
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead and delegate tasks
- Knowledge of proper installation of landscape projects
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills

**Compensation**
- Hourly rate $24-$27 per hour
- Overtime paid out at 1.5 each pay period

**Landscaping Foreperson**

Reporting to the Landscape Manager, the Foreman is responsible for overseeing landscape jobs, monitoring and training new and existing workers on your crew, supervising equipment use, and ensuring staff are following proper safety guidelines and protocols. **Applicants must have new installation and renovation experience. As well as the ability to read and understand Landscaping design plans**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- View job with Designers, the Landscaping Manager and the Client
- Create a project plan for the installation of the job
- Ability to step in and take over a job at any stage
- Operate equipment required for the job
- Accountability for the quality of the job
- Troubleshoot issues that arise on the job and modify the job in collaboration with the Designer and Client
- Conduct daily morning toolbox meetings on-site with crew
- Monitor and track progress of jobs and communicate status with Project Manager, Designer, and Client
- Mentor and coach new employees on installations tactics
- Ability to understand and read elevations (building walls, patios, etc.) and drainage on projects
- Complete required paperwork and purchase orders
- Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
- Responsibility to report and record safety incidents and near misses
- Other duties as required

**Qualification**
- Minimum 5 years experience in building custom residential landscaping
- Minimum 3 years of leading a crew of 2-3 people
- **Must be able to push and pull 60-100 lbs**:

- **Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs**:

- Strong attention to detail and quality completion
- Strong oral communication skills
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License

**Compensation**
- Hourly rate $28-$30 per hour
- Overtime paid out or banked
- Eligible for benefits
