Glama Gal Kids Spa Party Studio is an inspirational kids spa and arts and craft studio specializing in birthday parties, kids events and workshops, camps, spa packages and empowerment programs. We're not just any kids party studio. Since 2012, our main focus has always been inner beauty, self confidence and positivity. We strive to instill these core values in every child that walks through our doors. It's your job to make sure every child who walks through our doors feels special, has a great time and hopefully walks out the door with just a little more self-confidence and self-worth

**Job Requirements**

This position requires an applicant who is willing to work mainly on weekends, and occasionally on weekday evenings.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Welcome guests to the studio with a smile, and ensure the ultimate guest experience.
- Serve food to guests (pizza, cupcakes, drinks, ice cream).
- Host birthday parties, workshops and events for kids between the ages of 5 to 13 years. You will be required to deal with group sizes of about 8-10 kids with the support of another party host.
- Engage children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, games and dance parties.
- Maintain the studio and other program areas by following the cleaning checklist and performing assigned tasks.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience working with children in a camp, daycare, school, event or extra curricular setting is preferred. To be successful in this job, you must enjoy working with kids.
- If you are currently going to school for children related programs (ECE, child and youth care etc.), that is also an asset.
- Ingeniously crafty and entertaining.
- Enjoy dancing, playing and being silly with kids.
- Work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Loud, outgoing and bubbly personality. This is a fast-paced, high energy job.
- The ability to engage and lead a group of children in activities such as games, play-based spa services, and arts and crafts.
- Be confident in keeping the group under control and making sure activities run on time.
- Creativity and artistic abilities are a definite asset.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be confident, outgoing, extroverted and not afraid to be loud (these are the most important personality traits to be successful in this job).

**Availability**
- Mainly weekends. And occasionally on Thursday and Friday evenings.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week

Schedule:

- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only

Supplemental pay types:
