**Overview**

The Parts Person is responsible for supporting the maintenance team by managing inventory systems and ensuring the accuracy and accountability of all parts-related processes. This role involves receiving and verifying deliveries, organizing the stockroom, tracking inventory levels, assigning parts to work orders, and distributing stock parts efficiently.

In addition to inventory responsibilities, the Parts Person supports production line downtime (DH) activities, including preventive maintenance (PMs), cleaning, and other maintenance-related tasks.

This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is hands-on and knowledgeable in effective parts inventory flow and management. Strong follow-through and the ability to work collaboratively with the maintenance and production teams are essential to success in this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Parts organization, storage and distribution
- Perform inventory cycle counting
- Work with mechanics on inventory levels such as min-max settings
- Maintain the Stores Material Master
- Track parts delivery due dates and vendor scorecards
- Work with vendors
- Track parts ordered against work orders. Maintain accurate status on expected delivery
- Manage notification process, Obtain Quotes from Vendors
- File all paperwork accordingly
- Complete any other duties as assigned
- Represent Golden Arrow in a positive way at all times
- Adhere to corporate and departmental policies and procedures and perform other duties as required
- Maintaining the highest level of ethical behavior with our customers, fellow employees, and the communities we serve

**Qualification**
- 2-4 years working in Parts Technician position; Journeyman certification an asset
- Working knowledge of Tatems Fleet Management software (required)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to prioritize and organize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
- Strong proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Mechanical (electrical, mechanical, etc.) knowledge helpful, but not necessary.
- Forklift Certification to send and receive large parts.
