**The Opportunity**

Portland Tractor Inc. is looking for an experienced **Parts Person** to join our team in **Edmonton, Alberta**. As the Parts Person, you will be responsible for providing sales and technical support to our customers while overseeing the receiving and delivery of parts and accessories.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

As the Parts Person your key responsibilities will include:

- Sell parts products and provide excellent service for customers
- Assist in keeping the Parts department clean and orderly
- Record all sales and/or customer transactions
- Provide accurate pricing and availability of parts for requested quotes
- Control inventory, inlcuding placing parts orders to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks
- Follow prescribed cash, credit, and cheque processing procedures
- Process warranties and new return merchandise
- Use company equipment and resources safely
- Follow up on product shortages

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Minimum two years of prior experience in a comparable parts role is required
- Journeyman parts person or apprentice parts person certification is an asset
- Strong organizational skills
- Good verbal communication skills and listening skills
- A customer service mindset and the ability to understand and meet customer needs
- Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Word, Excel & Outlook

The base pay range for this role is: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour, depending on experience.

This is an **onsite** role based in **Edmonton, AB**.
