OVERVIEW

The Brand Marketing Specialist is responsible for the promotion of the Parq Vancouver brand and will work closely with marketing managers to drive brand awareness and engagement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning, executing, analyzing and reporting on campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement
- Promote Parq brand through paid advertising, paid partnerships, contra partnerships and earned media via PR
- Manage Parq brand through merchandise, branded swag and assets, signage and internal design
- Measure brand awareness through brand surveys
- Oversee PR campaigns
- Creating intranet posts and actively representing the department on Jostle
- Submitting all photography, video shoots and radio remote requests to BCLC for approval. Main point of contact for all shoots, and must be present for all
- Updating the BCLC cool sign digitals, ensuring RG signage are correctly displayed
- Completing the Graphic Design of simple in house projects like directional signage, HR associate collateral, menu layouts, etc
- Providing copy editing, proof reading and fact checking support for the Content Specialist. Day to day support for Content & Social Media Specialist including coordination of photo shoots, PR general assistance
- Partnership support including but not limited to coordination of on property experiences, deliveries, event set-up, scheduling of meetings
- Administrative duties including Marketing Executive schedule management, expense reporting, the set-up of meetings, conference calls, board room arrangements, etc
- Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years of experience in a marketing role
- Previous coordination and office admin experience preferred
- Post-secondary qualifications in marketing or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and oral communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and interests
- Strong computer knowledge - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Casino, gambling or entertainment industry experience preferred

CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to obtain a valid GPEB registration
- Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings
- Serving it Right Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
- Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours
